Return Policy

We have a 14-day return policy exclusively for books with confirmed printing defects, meaning you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return beginning from the date you receive your order: 

During this period, returns are accepted only for books with confirmed printing defects. We do not accept returns due to a change of mind, personal preference, or any reason unrelated to a printing defect.

To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and provide your order details along with clear photographs of the printing defect. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will arrange a replacement or refund, as applicable.

Local Orders

For orders within Egypt, you are welcome to inspect your order while the delivery representative is still present.

If you choose not to accept the order at the time of delivery for any reason other than a printing defect, you may return it, but you will be responsible for the applicable delivery fees for all items in the order.

After the order has been accepted and the delivery has been completed, returns are subject to the 14-day return policy stated above.

International Orders

International orders are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of eligible manufacturing or printing defects reported within 14 days of receipt.

Dar Al Jilani is not responsible for any damage, loss, or deterioration that may occur during the delivery or shipping process. Our responsibility is limited to verified manufacturing or printing defects present prior to shipment.

Custom Orders

Custom-made orders are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are created specifically for you, unless a confirmed defect is identified upon receipt of the order; please note that the 14-day return period does not apply, and any defect must be identified and reported while the delivery person is still present.

Food Products

For reasons of hygiene and safety, food products, including honey, are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Condition of Returned Items

Any approved return must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase, such as an original receipt or order confirmation, and the item must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Items that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
